Paved Driveway's

With block paving cleaning, the re-application of kiln-dried sand is included in the price we quote, as is the application of weed control. We don’t offer the option for sand to not be re-applied for a good reason.

Sand in between block paving is an integral part of the structure, and without it the blocks would eventually shift and lose shape and generally affect the look of the driveway. Also the deep chasms between the blocks act as a trap for dirt and muck creating an ideal place for weeds and grass to form deep roots.

We use strong chemicals (with customer consent) to remove black spots, lichen, moss and algae.

Stopping organic growth in its tracks.

We also offer an additional services such as block paving sealing and a seperate biocide treatment option that continues to inhibit regrowth for up to 24 months. 

Concrete, Tarmac & Resin Driveway's

With concrete, tarmac and resin driveways the job can be done a little bit quicker than block paving and is usually cheaper as there is no need for the use of sand and normally we don’t need as much weed treatment. However, depending on the substrate underneath, Resin can take a long time to rinse.

Oil and Rust stains can be treated prior to cleaning.

Patio's

We clean all types of patio, from Indian sandstone to concrete flagstones, to crazy paving. We use high power industrial strength pressure washers and rotary cleaners, enabling us to clean patio’s in half the time it would take someone doing it themselves with a domestic pressure washer, and due to the power of our machines the results are far superior.

When we go to a customer’s residence to price patio cleaning work, we commonly find that there is mortar missing from the joints (pointing).   You should be aware that it is highly likely that when pressure washing a patio with pointing, you are going to lose some of the mortar.   It is quite unavoidable, even with a less powerful, domestic pressure washer.  Of course if you have strong, well applied, undamaged pointing, there should be little or no effect.

Roof Cleaning

After winds or heavy rain, do you constantly find lumps of moss on your driveway or patio?  Do your gutters and down pipes get blocked on a regular basis? If the answer is yes, then we can help. For this to be a regular occurrence, it’s likely that you have large amounts of unsightly moss covering your roof.

Some can be pressure washed with low pressure, some need to be scraped by hand, and others simply just need a biocidal treatment.

​

Once the moss is removed from your roof, depending on the cleaning process used, you can leave it as is, or you have the option to either have your roof treated with a biocide to kill of any remaining algae or tiny bits of moss remaining, or, have it soft washed.  This process kills off any remaining moss and algae, but also restores the original colour of the tiles.​

After any moss removal or treatment is completed, all gutters are cleared and unblocked; any mess is cleared up, including walls and windows rinsed down if needed.
